Special Topics In Calamity Physics - Marisha Pessl This book is stuffed with simile like the championship mouth in a Chubby Bunny tournament.
Between Shades Of Gray - Ruta Sepetys This book was excellent but felt like only 3/4 of the story. I started getting stressed at the end when I realized there were only a few pages left - why did she end it where she did? Reading the author's note after the abrupt ending made it feel more like a history lesson than an immersive reading experience. She could have had both by adding a few more chapters.
Until Proven Guilty - J.A. Jance Whew. I don't think I've rolled my eyes this much since high school!
Never Let Me Go - Kazuo Ishiguro I thought that I would love this book but the glaring plot holes made it difficult for me to suspend disbelief. :-(
Inside Out - Maria V. Snyder This would have been four stars but I had to penalize for Sheepy.
The Host - Stephenie Meyer I gave this book four stars the first time I read it. I really enjoyed the story but the writing was repetitive and it would probably be better if it were a couple hundred pages shorter. I still liked the story, but listening to the audiobook made the repetitive elements tedious. Three stars for the audiobook.

P.S. Does anyone ever really have the same "they must not love me" misunderstanding as many times as Meyer's characters do? I think not!
